We have moved in our new home and are pretty much settled. The boys were gone for a few days, and a couple nights. So Paul and I had a chance to get much done in that time frame. Busy days and late nights, but it was well worth it in the end. Thanks to everyone who helped out with watching the boys, moving boxes, helping make beds, and unpacking some boxes and just for helping us get settled quickly! It was GREATLY appreciated! I will hopefully take some pictures sometime soon and post for you. Or you can just pop by for a visit sometime too! :0) We are really loving our new home. It is really beautiful. Although we sacrificed some privacy in our backyard, we still love it. And it is nice to have a fenced in yard for the boys to play safely. We are getting into a routine and settling nicely. The boys call this home already and we really feel at home here. I still have to get used to the noises of the house settling at nights especially the nights that Paul is working. Like example last night, being woken up at 1:00 am by the door bell ringing!! Talk about a scare! Never in our married life have we had a door bell until moving here, and someone rings it on a night when Paul is working. I didn't get much sleep last night.
We had the local fire department on our street this week doing Fire Safety checks. They came by our place and we had them check our house. The boys were able to check out the fire truck and even go in it. I grabbed the camera and took some pictures. It was really fun for them! That is one thing that you don't get when you live on a dead end street (like our old home).
