Who wouldn't love this sweet little baby girl!?! It is hard to believe last year at this time we found out we were expecting a baby, and now here she is and almost 4 months old already! We are so thankful to God for her. He knew that we needed this little girl to join our family! We love her so much!!

or 3 and a half :)

3 snow days last week and a half day this week! Crazy! This has never happened before. I remember having the odd snow day when I was growing up, but so far since Seth has been in school, we haven't had any snow days (at least not on the days he had to go). Welcome to our Winter Wonderland! Even though I am not a big fan of winter, the snow does look pretty! Here are some pictures from the past couple weeks of Christmasy things around our house.

We had extra lights and I just bought some garland and it looks so cozy, especially in the evening

last year we couldn't hang Chloe's (we knew we were expecting another baby, but we were not ready to share the news with everyone yet)

Hope you are all enjoying the winter weather! Looking forward to a couple weeks of Christmas break and some family celebrations as well.

When we have a snow day or two...

...we snuggle in a blanket and stay cozy warm! :)

We also try to sleep in, eat breakfast late and play in the snow, and don't forget the hot chocolate too! Hope you are enjoying your snow days too!

Our Kids

Just a little note about our kids:

Hard to believe Seth is going to be 7 in a little over a month! He is growing up so fast & learning so much since being in Grade 1!

We are very proud of Ethan...2 thumbs up for him since he is now potty trained! He goes whenever he has to and it is great to only have 1 child in diapers now. Saves us money too!

Chloe is 3 months today. She is sleeping 12 hours at night, which is wonderful! My how the past couple months have gone so quickly.

I also wanted to post a picture of her in this sleeper. It is one of my favourites for her and since she keeps growing, it is not going to fit her too much longer.

The past couple weeks at our home

I feel like things have been crazy busy around here, so sorry for the lack of a weekly post. This time it is pictures from the past couple of weeks. They are not in proper order, but that doesn't really matter. You will all get the idea of what is happening here in our home. :)

We put up the tree on Thursday....

We also went to see the elephant statue Jumbo. We drove by it one day and the boys kept asking and since the weather was not too cold and it wasn't snowing, we thought we had better do it, or we wouldn't hear the end of it

Seth had wacky hair day and pajama day at school a little while back

He wanted a mohawk hair do...so this is what I did for him

And whenever the camera is out...this little guy likes his picture being taken too!

And the answer is....

The answer is not that Chloe sucks her thumb...although in a previous post I had a picture of her sucking her thumb. The answer is that she suck her fingers. She starts out going to sleep each night (or for each nap) with her soother and once it pops out of her mouth, then she finds her fingers. I really think this helps to keep her content and allows her to sleep longer throughout the night. She is going for more than 10 hours at night, sometimes even more than 11 hours. I am thinking that she will soon be ready to go to bed by 8/8:30 and sleep for at least 12 hours. She is feeding 4 times, every 4 hours (sometimes a little sooner) and takes 4-5 feeds a day. She is very happy and content, loves being around us and enjoys all the noise her brothers make. She is always looking around for them and following them and greeting them with plenty of smiles. When she is fussy, I don't always know what to do with her, since she is more happy than not. :)

waking up...I wake her up each morning to start her day with a bath and her first morning feed, who knows how long she would sleep if I left her!

Stay tuned for pictures of our last couple of weeks....I like to post some pictures each week about how our week has been, but the past couple of weeks seem a little crazy busy around here. And next week is busy too with dentist and doctor appointments. I hope to post again really soon and be a faithful blogger (or at least a once a week faithful blogger) :)

Chloe's baby photo shoot

Here are pictures of Chloe's baby photo shoot. She had just turned 2 months here. She did really well for it and we got some nice pictures of her. :) She is such a good baby, so happy and content! We all love her to pieces!! Her daddy adores her, her brothers love her and her mommy thinks back to January and February when she was a the beginning of pregnancy and feeling so very sick and how this baby was ALL worth it. Every bit of sickness was worth having this sweet baby girl! We are so thankful to God for her in our lives.
