Keith & Kristyn Getty "In Christ Alone"

I tried adding this at the bottom of my last post, but it wouldn't let me.

On the weekend we celebrated Jesus death and resurrection. We serve a risen Saviour and I am so thankful of what Jesus did for me! This song came to mind during the weekend. It is one of my favourites! I heard it 3 years ago in the church we went to in Texas while we were there. I love it so much and it is so meaningful!

Our weekend

I took these pictures over the weekend. I go a little crazy with taking pictures and then have a hard time picking out the best ones so I tend to post more. :) Friday, I was able to celebrate my birthday. I am thankful for another year that God has blessed me with. I had my parents and sisters over to celebrate as Paul was working. I was spoiled and enjoyed my day! My sister Sue spent the weekend to keep me company and help out with the kids.

He's 4 now!

Ethan celebrated his 4th birthday yesterday. Wow! Time sure flies! I remember the night before he was born there was snow on the ground and the day of his birth and even a couple days after, it was snowing. Labour was very quick and intense with him since he was posterior and he arrived with his umbilical cord in a knot. The doctor who delivered him told me before he left, "this little guy is going to be a handful!". At the time I was thinking to myself-not this sweet little baby. But lo and behold, Ethan is very much a handful. He is a bundle of energy and never stops unless he is sleeping. He must get that from his Daddy! ;) Here are some pictures of his birthday celebration.

showing off his muscles

He woke on Saturday morning to his gift in the kitchen (we celebrated a bit early since Daddy was going to be out of town for his birthday)

We had cupcakes for breakfast on Saturday :)

Opening a couple other gifts on his actual birthday

a Tonka Mighty Machine sticker book

He now has a Cars mug (just like Seth)

You sure are a big boy Ethan and we all love you very much! And pray that God may work in your little heart and that you may love, honour and serve Him all the days of your life!

We plan on having a family party for him on Saturday where he will have cake and treats. He is looking forward to it!
