our vacation

As promised ...... pics of our time at the trailer. And it was filled with much fun. Papa, Grandma, Jay & Kate, Danielle, Sue and the dogs were all there. We had nice weather and did some swimming, boating, walks to the corner store, and game nights.

Seth had a chance to drive the boat and Ethan wanted a turn too. Here he is-Captain Ethan!

Ethan loved it!

and so did Seth!

Papa & Grandma took us on a trail for a short hike. It was short-lived due to the mosquitos eating both Paul & Seth!

here Seth is asking Grandma if this was a rescue boat .....

.... and sure enough, we found 2 guys in a boat whose motor died on them, so we had to tow their boat back to where their cottage was. Seth was pretty excited that Papa's boat was a rescue boat!

Paul & I enjoying the ride!

am I a cool dude or what?

train ride

On Saturday we took the kids and Auntie Sue on the train ride in Port. It was about a 1 hour ride. It was fun. Seth loved it and Ethan didn't mind the first 1/2 of the trip and then got restless. Thankfully we brought the stroller and sat him in there to keep him seated. It was a beautiful day to be in the open car and a nice time out together as a family!

girls night

We had a girls night last night to celebrate Michelle's birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHELLE!! :0) We hope you had a great time.

game night

the baby party & pics of Ethan

The annual 2007 baby party hosted by a lady from our church. We had a nice morning out and it was greatly appreciated of her for opening her home to us. Here are some pictures of the babies. Although, most of the time when a group picture is taken, all the babies are in tears (or at least most of them)

Seth's first day of school

Seth had his first day of JK today. The morning did not start off well especially since Seth is not a morning person, so we had to rush off to school. We were not late though. There were no tears shed (I thought I would have cried) and he was so excited that he walked in the room and didn't even say good bye to us. We had to go in and give him a kiss and say bye. He had so much fun today! He came home and showed me his crafts, library book and when I asked, he told me all about his day. I am so happy for him and look forward to many days of learning & growing. He is going to be the happy helper on Thursday, since I am going to volunteer for the morning. Should be lots of fun! I am looking forward to it. We had a good day today. The house was rather quiet with Seth gone. Ethan had 2 naps and Paul was studying. I had time to organize and tidy up. We were excited to see Seth when he got home!

all ready to go and super excited too!

daddy picked up Seth from school today with this bike trailer that we picked up at a garage sale while on vacation. He had a blast on the ride home!

giving the thumb's up for a great day at school

showing off his hat that he made in school. Paul told me that when he saw Seth, he was the only kid wearing his hat. He wanted to wear it to bed tonight as well.

I have pics from our vacation. Will post them soon ..... so keep checking in on us! :0)
