vacation pictures

We went on vacation for 6 days to our trailer and were able to coordinate it for the same time that my parents and sisters were up as well. It was an incredible week!! The weather was beautiful, we were able to enjoy the outdoors, afternoons spent at the beach, lots of swimming (and Seth learned to swim this year!! We are proud of him. Paul spent a few minutes teaching him and he picked it up right away. He was even going out deep and doing such a good job!) relaxing and enjoying God's creation. We did the traditional supper in the park, there were traditional walks to the corner store (at least for the boys) for treats, and of course the traditional game nights and junk food once the boys were in bed. Such fun times for sure! Looking forward to doing it again in 3 weeks time!!

sprinkler fun!

The boys had fun this afternoon cooling off with the sprinkler. Seth thought it would be a fun idea to put it by the swings and cool off while swinging away!

And this is a view of my belly. It is what I see when I look down at the ground. I can't even see my feet anymore! Having a belly out front this time really makes it hard for taking care of my feet (grooming and putting nail polish on). Oh well, it won't last forever! :)

baby room

I guess since it is 1/2 way through July, I should do a post!! We have been working at getting the baby room ready and now that it is done, I can post pictures. The walls in the room are a very light mauve/purple colour. It was painted that way when we moved in and we decided to keep it that way, just in case some day we would have another baby and it would be a girl. :) So everything is ready, even the clothing is washed. Now we just wait in these next 6 weeks or so, for the baby to continue to grow healthy and strong and to be born at the right time. I saw my OB for the first time, on Tuesday. I had to wait 2 hours to be seen since she had to go twice to the hospital for deliveries. Oh well, Paul was home with the boys having some father-sons bonding time, and I had a good book with me. The pregnancy continues to go well. I am healthy and after thinking about how much weight I have gained this time round, it is not as much as I had thought. I have been working out and drinking lots of water and trying to eat healthy, but still enjoying the occasional treat. I am carrying more out front this time too. I feel like I have a ball in my belly. The boys keep talking about their baby sister and what they are going to do to help out and how they will hold her/rock her etc. It is very cute to hear their enthusiasm about a new baby. We are all very excited to meet this little one! :)

We are leaving for vacation this week and are looking forward to spending time at our trailer. My parents and sisters will be there too so we will have some fun times once again. We also go again 1 week before the baby is due. I am not too worried about having this little one while on vacation, since I was overdue with both the boys. Going on vacation then will be nice too, since it will help pass the time and when we get back, I will only have a few more days until due date. Hope you all are enjoying your summertime and are keeping cool! We have been running our air conditioner during the hot and humid days to keep cool. Hopefully I will have some pictures to post of our vacation sometime when we get back.
