2 more months to go!!

2 more months until baby's due date!! (or 9 weeks, I go by weeks since it seems to be easier to keep track). We are getting excited to meet our baby. The weeks are going by so quickly. Now that Ethan is out of his old room, we will be getting the baby room ready. It will probably be a couple more weeks until the crib is set up and things are organized. I hope to take pictures when it is done. Until then...here are some belly pictures. I have grown quite a bit since the last picture, the baby is definitely growing bigger and I sometimes feel like I am stretched to the max (and I still have 2 more months to go!). I wonder how big I will be in the end. I seem to be carrying more out front this time. Things are continuing to go well with the pregnancy. I am feeling fine, a bit more tired, and I do feel some extra pressure but other than that, I have nothing to complain about. I have my first appointment to see my OB in 3 weeks. Oh how the weeks fly by! Soon we'll be holding our sweet baby in our arms!

Bunk beds

When we found out we were going to have another baby, we looked into getting bunk beds for the boys. We ended up finding a nice set on kijiji in January and Seth has been sleeping in the top bunk since then. On Friday, since school is over and we are in summer mode here, we thought we would move Ethan over into the bottom bunk and now the boys share a room. So far, it is working out well. They talk a little bit before going to sleep, but the nice advantage is, they sleep in a bit longer each morning and then play together nicely to allow for us to sleep in a bit longer. We sure like that! :)

We had to use a bed rail for Ethan still since the first night I found him sleeping on the floor since he had fallen out of bed in the middle of the night.

and the nice thing is, the bunk beds match the dresser and night stand we had for the room

Aren't they cute?!

Seth's SK Graduation

We are officially on Summer break here! Seth had his Senior Kindergarten Graduation ceremony on Friday. It is so hard to believe that he is going into Grade 1 in September. My how fast they grow up! It will be a change for us for him to go to school every day, but yet it will be exciting for him too, as he will have a new teacher. We celebrated his graduation by going to Boston Pizza for lunch (Auntie Dani & Auntie Sue joined us). So far we are enjoying the summer break, even though it is just the first official day. The boys woke up at 8:30 and then played nicely together in their room since they are sharing a room/bunk beds, and allowed me to sleep in until 9. So nice...I think I could get used to this summer break! :)

Spring Flowers

Since we moved into our home in the summer last year, we missed out on seeing all the flowers bloom in our yard in the springtime. There were tulips and daffodils earlier, but I never ended up getting a picture of them. I do not know what any of these flowers are, I am definitely not a gardener. My dear hubby is the one who waters all the plants inside and out, weeds them and takes care of them. I just enjoy looking at them. :) And our boys enjoy picking them (which they are not supposed to do). Here are some pictures of some of the pretty flowers that are blooming around us.

These are flowers in a tree we have. I don't know what kind it is though.

And of course, whenever I have the camera out, Ethan almost always asks me to take his picture. And is ready, waiting with a smile and saying "cheese". (Seth missed out on a picture since he was playing by the fence with the neighbour)

My dear husband, spending some time outside, enjoying the beautiful day and studying. He has a test coming up this week.

Summer already??

It sure felt like summer this past week. The kids spent time outside in their kid pool, the sprinkler, and even tried out the slip 'n slide. We have been using the a/c for the past week since this pregnant mama just doesn't do very well with the heat! :) I am thankful for the rain that we have had and that it isn't so humid right now! School is almost done. Seth has 6 more days and then he graduates from SK. And 12 more weeks until baby's due date. It may still seem far away, but the weeks just seem to go by so quickly (at least for now).

Ethan had more fun drinking the water, than going down the slip 'n slide

Seth sure enjoyed it though
