Some exciting news! We are moving! We ended up listing our house on the market at the beginning of April. After 2 weeks of lots of showings and an open house, Paul's parents told us that they wanted to buy our house. Paul's mom has always loved our home. Since we had listed the house through our agents (who by the way are really awesome agents if you ever need one!, Check the post below for their name and number) we were bound by contract to stay with them for a period of time. Anyways, Paul's parents contacted them and put in an offer, and we accepted. So as of the end of July, we will be moving into our new home. We had put an offer on this home with condition that we sold our home. Things worked out so smoothly and you can see God's hand, timing and plan in this all. We are thankful and excited!!!

April pictures

Here are just some random photos taken in April. I haven't really thought to take many pictures lately, but still want to update my blog.

snuggling with Daddy in the morning

Seth knows how to pump himself on the swing, so any chance he can get, he is out there on the swing. It opens up a whole new world to him. Plus he also knows how to ride his bike with no training wheels. He is pretty proud of that. He worked on that during the March break. He is growing up fast!

And any chance that Ethan gets, he is in the sand box. He loves digging with the mighty machines and getting dirty, like little boys tend to do so often!

Wordless Wednesday

finally another post!

Sorry about the lack of blogging! I still like to blog and will be keeping it. Things have been crazy busy in our household! So enjoy!

I absolutely love the look of our kitchen!

Seth bought a pair of "cool" glasses at Play Store in JK. He walked around the house with is eyes closed because he couldn't see well without his glasses (the above picture). But once he found his glasses, it was all good! (the picture below)

And the pictues below are from Ethan's 2nd Birthday which he celebrated on Sunday.

Opening his gifts of books, DVD's and airplanes

Seth had the flu that day so here he is celebrating with Ethan, but not feeling or looking very well. He was sick for 3 days, and is finally feeling better.

Ethan does this funny look with his eyes, but it is so hard to get it in a picture, so this is as best as I could get it. He rolls his eyes and has this cute look.

having a cupcake, while eating it, he kept saying, "mmm...good"

Our sweet baby is 2 now. Oh, how the time goes by so quickly. And he is not really much of a baby anymore. Although I will probably think him as my baby, until God grants us another baby. He is a funny, mischievous, sweet little boy, but he can be very stubborn. He is a joy to all our lives and we can't imagine what it would be like without him.

time for an update

Sorry to all who check my blog, for not posting in awhile. We have a new computer and all my photos are on the old one. So I haven't been able to post pictures. For updates on our renovations....we have the counter tops finished (will post pics soon!). We decided not to do a back splash with tile, but to paint instead. That part is done now. We put up faux wood blinds on the 2 windows in the kitchen and white tab top curtains on the dining room patio door. Finally we have privacy again! Paul is working on the trim and hopes to finish that soon. Then we need to do some organizing, decluttering, and tidying up the outside of our home where all the junk from our renovations are.
We didn't do anything too special for March break. It was lovely to be able to sleep in each morning, and to not have anywhere specific to go. It was quite relaxing. We helped celebrate my Mom's birthday at the beginning of the break. And at the end of the week, we celebrated with Mark & Rachael, as they were married. What a lovely day and nice to see some old friend too. Other than that, we just enjoyed the weather by going for walks and to the neighbourhood park as a family. Seth had to work on a homework assignment by observing signs of spring. It was neat to go outside every day and look for robins, plants growing, leaves growing etc. We spent time playing, painting (kid paint) and just being together. Seth learned to ride his bike with no training wheels. He is not fully ready to do it on his own, but has been practicing in the basement and can go for a stretch on his own. He is pretty proud of his accomplishment! And we are too! :0)
Seth went back to school yesterday and I think it is always tough for them to get back into their routine. He did have a good day back though. Ethan keeps me/us busy. He has become a little monkey lately. He does something mischievous and then either laughs or smiles about it. He is also going through the terrible twos. And it is not fun. Loud crying and screaming from the top of his lungs, no matter where he is. Whether home or in the grocery store, doesn't matter to him. We will get through it and just be persistent. Ethan celebrates his 2nd birthday soon. Hopefully I will be posting pictures by that time.
Anyways, this is just an update for now. Hope our blog-checking friends are doing well and that you all enjoyed your March break!

Craziness in our home

Can anyone else touch their nose with their tongue?? Seth is the only one in our family who can. Ethan can do a weird looking tongue roll though.
