Things are well with all of us. We have been pretty healthy. The odd cold and fever but we are doing well. The boys are loving school. Ethan wakes up each morning wondering what day it is and whether or not he goes to school. :) Chloe is expanding her vocabulary and sounds. She is not walking yet, but growing up so very fast! We bought a bread maker last month and have been enjoying fresh, homemade bread. Yummy! No more store bought bread for us! :) Paul and I are celebrating our 9th anniversary in a couple weeks. We had a date night this past Tuesday and enjoyed seeing the movie Courageous. A must see for all!! And we also enjoyed dinner at Kelsey's afterwards. Thanks to my sister Dani for babysitting the kids! We figured we would celebrate early since we weren't sure if the movie would still be in theatres in a couple weeks.

Gotta run....Chloe just woke up from her nap and I hear her calling me on the monitor. :)

Back 2 School

It was back to school today. I think Seth was liking the idea of going back to school and starting Grade 2. Ethan was just thrilled to be starting JK. Last night he couldn't wait until it was morning time so he could go to school. We got up on time, took some pictures and even made it to school well before class started. Seth went off no problem, and sat in his desk anxiously awaiting the start of class. And Ethan hung up his back pack and got his indoor shoes on and all he could think about was painting a picture. There were no tears at all from the kids or myself.

 I had a nice day with Chloe. We went shopping in the morning and had a quiet afternoon. Although I did have to pick the kids up before school was done since Ethan had a fever and his cold was getting worse. Hoping he will be better for school on Thursday!

Birthday celebrations while on vacation

We enjoyed another part of a week at the trailer. This time everyone was able to be there. It was lots of fun and we were able to celebrate birthdays that week too. We had fun with game nights, and campfires and beach days (although the water was too cold for me to swim in) but still enjoyed time spent lounging at the beach, eating snacks and just being together. It was a great week!

Paul's birthday was on the Tuesday

Chloe's birthday was on Friday, and Dad's was on Saturday (we celebrated on Thursday)

She's 1

Our sweet baby girl Chloe is now a 1 year old. Hard to believe how fast that year went! We all love her to pieces and she brings so much joy to our family! She had a good day celebrating. We were at the trailer and she was able to celebrate there along with her Daddy whose birthday was earlier that week and her Papa's who is a day after hers (more pics to follow on trailer time/birthday celebrations).

this is something Chloe and I have done for months now, I put my forehead towards her and she puts hers to mine and we just look at each other. I love it! So precious!
