Seth had his first soccer game last week Wednesday. It was fun watching him. He had some fans come out and see him (Auntie Dani, Papa & Grandma, Mrs. Baker who is his JK teacher, Ethan and Mommy, Daddy had to work). He has never played soccer before, but had fun playing for 1/2 of the game. I think he got upset because he was trying to kick the ball, and someone from the other team kicked it instead. It is kinds of funny, since kids learn at home and at school to share and not take things away from others, and in soccer the whole idea is to get the ball away from the other team. I can see how confusing that would be for a 5 year old. We hope that he will get the hang of soccer and enjoy the season of playing. His coach happens to be our family dentist and her husband coaches as well. The following pictures are from the first game.

we had the same thing with Caleb, he didnt dare take the ball away from others. Seth will probably catch on though, he already got that one good kick in. so fun that he got on a timbit team. Caleb was on 'keepers' (a thrift store :)Taunya
