Ethan celebrated his 4th birthday yesterday. Wow! Time sure flies! I remember the night before he was born there was snow on the ground and the day of his birth and even a couple days after, it was snowing. Labour was very quick and intense with him since he was posterior and he arrived with his umbilical cord in a knot. The doctor who delivered him told me before he left, "this little guy is going to be a handful!". At the time I was thinking to myself-not this sweet little baby. But lo and behold, Ethan is very much a handful. He is a bundle of energy and never stops unless he is sleeping. He must get that from his Daddy! ;) Here are some pictures of his birthday celebration.

He woke on Saturday morning to his gift in the kitchen (we celebrated a bit early since Daddy was going to be out of town for his birthday)

You sure are a big boy Ethan and we all love you very much! And pray that God may work in your little heart and that you may love, honour and serve Him all the days of your life! We plan on having a family party for him on Saturday where he will have cake and treats. He is looking forward to it!
