Here's Chloe's 9 month photo shoot.
She celebrated turning 9 months by getting the chicken pox! Happy 9 months baby girl! So far she is a trooper. Not too many spots as of yet, but that can change in a short time. We shall see what happens. We are thinking her brother Ethan will end up with them too at some point. Her oldest brother Seth already had them when he was 7 1/2 months. We are hoping to get it over with. I will take some pictures of her later, when there are more spots.
Some of the things Chloe is doing at this stage:
~ She babbles with sounds: dada, ahh, baba, mama (she's finally saying mama which makes me happy!)
~ She still loves her baby food, baby cereal and eating Cheerios too. We have tried some solids, but she is not quite ready for them.
~ She loves ice cream and freezies. The other day I gave her brothers each a bowl of ice cream and she just about had a fit, wondering where hers was. Usually when Paul is home for meals, he shares his ice cream with her, but since he wasn't and I don't eat ice cream, I forgot about her. I gave her some and she was content and happy that she wasn't forgotten.
~ She has been sitting well on her own, she can get from laying to sitting and back again. She is also trying to pull herself up. She is able to get on her knees, but can't get on her feet yet.
~ She is not crawling on her hands and knees yet, but moves by pushing off on her foot and reaching/moving her hands to where she wants to go (maybe that is considered an army crawl?)~ She is still content and easy going, she is getting more vocal as she gets older. The quiet little girl is not so quiet anymore. :) She is still a joy and delight to us!
