July went by fast!

It is crazy how fast July went by! Only a little over a month and it is back to school and into a routine again. Although, even with summer break, we still have a bit of routine/structure to our day. It just helps to keep away boredom, and fighting. The boys have started another session of swimming lessons too! Each morning after breakfast, work on a Bible memory verse, do a few chores (brush teeth, make beds etc), then the kids have free time to play and it gives me a chance to workout and get ready to face the day. Then.....

...after lunch it is reading time for 1/2 hour

we make weekly trips to the public library and the boys love it!

then it is time for Seth to practice tying his shoe laces

it can be pretty tough at first

but after some time or trying over and over he gets it

and Ethan is working on writing his name, first he traces it 4 times and then he does it once on his own. A small reward/treat is given once they complete the task

then some time is spent outside or because of the really hot weather we've been having we keep cool inside and the boys play or watch a Little House on the Prairie episode

or some time is spent watch dad play his tank game

and this little girl is 11 months today!
Where has the time gone? A month to go and she'll be celebrating her 1st birthday!

She stands up and cruises along furniture she's growing up so very fast!
