Our 3 kids

Here are some pictures of our 3 kids. We sure have been blessed to have our 2 boys and now a baby girl. We love them to pieces. It is for sure busier around here with a new baby, but we are all managing and loving every minute of it.
Poor Ethan had a cold and this is how we found him just before supper time one night

Seth just loves his baby sister and apparantly talks about her at school a lot!

Kisses from her brothers....she is going to be one well protected girl with big brothers looking out for her!

Chloe's arrival

I finally have a bit of free time to do a post of birth pictures of Chloe and the past 11 days so far. She is an overall content baby, is feeding fairly well, and getting lots of sleep, having wake time and is such a joy to us all! We love her to bits!

Welcome to the world Chloe Margaret!

Kisses from a very tired Mommy! Chloe was my longest and hardest labour. 8.5 hours of labour and pushing for 1 hour and 15 minutes on no sleep in 24 hours makes for a very tired Mommy for sure!

So happy she is finally here!

all clean and dressed after her first bath

Very proud big brothers who came to see us at the hospital. They fell in love with her right away!

Ethan kept asking if we could take her home

a future Montreal fan?!?

content baby

My sweet nurse Darby who did over and above what she really had to do to make my birth experience as comfortable for me as possible. She was so nice and very caring and won't be forgotten!

a very alert baby

Our 3 beautiful children, we are so blessed!

Our family of 5

A proud Daddy who loves to sneak in snuggles

a happy mommy who now has a girl to dress in pink and purple and to shop with when she get older!!

What is happening here this week

Here's what is happening in our home this week:

Seth started his first day of Grade 1 on Tuesday. He is now going to school every day!

We are working on potty training Ethan...although it is more challenging since he has a mind of his own!

And our baby girl Chloe is 1 week old. She is pretty content and feeds and sleeps well. I am loving all the pink outfits! So fun having a girl.

Will do it some day soon, when I have more time. A certain wee one needs lots of my time and attention right now. :) Loving every minute of it, even the sleepless nights.

new swing set

We love kijiji!!! A friend of ours knew we had been looking for a swing/playset for the boys and she found this on kijiji for us. Of course we jumped on it right away and are so glad we did! We got a good deal on it since the people were moving and needed it gone. Thanks to Paul and his dad for taking it down, bringing it home and for setting it up. The boys are thrilled with it!

And Seth taught Ethan to pump this morning, and now he can go on the swing and pump himself. So nice not to have to push anyone anymore. :)

Still no baby yet....but the end is in sight. :)

Come baby come!

Well, we are all ready for baby. Just waiting for baby's arrival. I guess that is something baby will decide. :) We are anxiously awaiting her arrival. I know that the end is in sight, and am nervous for the labour and delivery part. But it will be all worth it in the end! This will be the last pregnancy picture I will post. Probably my last post all together until baby comes, and will post baby photos and other pictures later on. :)
We enjoyed a week at the trailer this past week. It was fun to get away again and have some time to relax and enjoy family time together. Although, I have to say that being 39 weeks pregnant on vacation was a little challenging. It was hard to get out of a lawn chair and hard to bend down to pick things up off the ground. I was more tired. And my ankles swelled up like crazy from the drive there and for the week, but were fine again once home. We still all had a great time though! It is hard to believe that our time at the trailer is over and we have to wait until next year to go up again. But that is what makes it fun...the anticipation of going up again. :)

Hope you all are doing well. Enjoy the last couple weeks of summer vacation until school and routine starts again! A prayer request if I may ask...Please pray that the labour and delivery will go well for me and the little babe and for a good recovery. It would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!

2 more weeks to go!

I have 2 more weeks to go until due date! The time seems to be passing by quickly. I went to the OB this morning and she gave the OK for me to go on vacation to our trailer. She is sending me with copies of my records for the "just in case" while we are gone. Not that I am anticipating going into labour when on vacation though. I was over with the boys and more than likely will again. Other than being tired, and not sleeping as great, plus being a bit more emotional, things are going well with baby and me. My belly keeps growing and she is running out of room inside me. :) I see the OB 2 days before my due date, and then we will see how things are going then. Hope you all have a great week! I will be busy with getting the house tidied and packing for vacation in the next couple of days for our vacation to the trailer. We are all excited to go again. It should be fun and hopefully uneventful (in the baby department that is). :)

18 more days!

18 more days until baby's due date! Crazy how fast it has been going!! And are we excited about meeting this little one. :) Although, I am nervous about the labour and delivery part, I am still looking forward to holding the baby in my arms. Last week, my OB had me have another ultrasound to be sure the baby was in the right position, and when I had it, I asked the technician to double check the gender. And she did see girl parts. So that does calm some of my doubts I had (since hearing stories from others). We are all ready for baby, even down to the window valance that I found at Value Village the other day. I am having the "nesting" feeling....wanting to make sure house is clean, laundry done, freezer filled with foods for after baby is here so I don't need to cook much for a little while, organizing who will watch the boys in case I go into labour or get induced etc. We are going on vacation in 1 week to our trailer for about 5 days again and when we get back, I will have 5-6 days until due date. I guess I feel the need to have everything ready so I can enjoy vacation time and come back refreshed and ready to have this baby. :) Seth and I went shopping last week to get new indoor shoes for school and find some snacks that he liked for the first week of school. I think with all the changes going on (new baby, school full-time, new teacher etc) he was a little worried about going back. So with the shopping, we made it fun for him to pick what he liked, to help him get more excited about school. I just finished giving the boys a hair cut to last them hopefully until October, and still have to do Paul's hair next week. I have already done a pre-admit to the hospital this past Thursday. I just need to pack my bag for the hospital and things are pretty much in order. I should probably get another belly picture, since I am getting bigger (at least at the front) or at least I really feel bigger! We've been enjoying the beautiful, cooler weather and have been having the windows open to get the fresh air. So nice! Well, that is what is going on here at our place. Hope you all are enjoying your summer. Hard to believe how quickly the summer is going! Although, I really don't mind, the sooner the time passes, the sooner we will meet our baby girl!

Camp-out in the backyard

On Friday night, Paul and the boys slept in the tent in our backyard. In previous years, Paul and Seth slept in the tent in the basement due to rain or it being really cold. But this time, they were able to be outside. The boys were so excited and after some junk food for snack time, they quickly got dressed in their pajamas and got pillows and teddies and everything they needed for the camp-out. They had all fun, but ended up coming in at 6 am due to the pouring rain and a leaky tent. Everything was soaked, including pillows. Oh well, they made if for most of the night. Maybe next year they will make it all night. :)
