Wacky Hair Day

The boys had Wacky Hair Day at school yesterday. Along with the wacky hair, comes some wacky pictures too! :)

Thanksgiving Day walk

We enjoyed a walk in Springwater on Thanksgiving Day. The reason I didn't say we went on a hike was because we didn't take the stroller along. So you can only go so far with a 2 year old who has a mind of her own in which direction to take. :) It was a little disappointing for the boys, who thought we were going to go through the whole trail. Another time...another time (when we remember the stroller!). It was fun though, catching leaves, collecting big sticks, just spending time as a family and capturing some smiles from the kids!

Thankful for these people in my life!

She's growing up

Chloe has a little something to share....

After waiting for Daddy's approval, he finally thought Chloe was old enough to get her ears pierced. (Mommy would have chose to have them done as a baby).  Monday was the day that she had them done. The lady did them one at a time, although having them done at the same time would have been much easier on her and me.  Once the first one was done it was very hard to get the second one done. Thankfully my friend who was with me, took Chloe on her lap and I hid so she wouldn't see me. That helped for sure! And ta da...she has pretty ears.
although if you ask her about her ears she will say "owie ears"

Back 2 School

Routine came again quickly the day after labour day when the boys went Back 2 School. They were both very excited and looked forward to the school year, which really makes it easier for parents, more like this mom ;) to send them off again. Talk to me about it in 2 years when Chloe goes. I'm thinking I'll be sitting at the opening program with a box of kleenex and tears rolling down my face.
As the tradition is, we eat breakfast, brush teeth and then head outside at the front to take a picture with backpacks on. These turned out nice. I had to include Chloe in it too since she was crying while inside with Paul. I thought I was organized that first morning with everything laid out and ready to go, and we got into the car and Paul reminded me I hadn't packed their lunches. I'm glad we figured that out before we left. :)

Mr. Ethan ready to take on a year in SK
Mr. Seth ready to take on a year of Grade 3 and is totally excited that he has Mr. V. as his teacher this year!

love this one of the 3 of them!
And I promised a goofy picture at the end

I'm back...

I guess I took a long break through the summer time from blogging. We really enjoyed our summer. It was nice to sleep in and just take it easy and have time to spend with the family. We enjoyed time at the trailer over the summer months as well.

Exactly 1 month ago today, our baby girl turned 2. That means she's not a baby anymore. She is growing up so fast! She's a little girl that loves pretty things like chap sticks, and bracelets as well as pretty dresses and don't forget pretty shoes and boots. It's fun having a little girl! :)

Here are some pictures of her birthday celebration, as well as her Papa and her Daddy's birthday celebration. All 3 have birthdays within a couple days of each other.

We love you sweet Chloe! What a joy you are to our lives and we all thank God for bringing that specialness to our family. May God bless you in this year of being 2.
And blessings to Papa and Daddy too in this year!
