Our Christmas Celebration

On Christmas Eve morning we had a yummy breakfast of cinnamon buns, then the kids opened their presents. It was a cozy, fun time and it was an enjoyable day. We ended the day with a finger foods for supper and a family movie night. It is nice to start traditions like these with our kids. Memories that last! I know I have fond memories of Christmas celebrations with my family.

Ethan opening his mighty machine toys. And boy does he love them!

Seth opening lego. That is a big time favourite with him.

Dad took time to build the lego helicopter with Seth

Ethan playing with his gift

the boys hanging out with Daddy!
And all the while, Mommy was resting on the couch because she was tired. ;)

Here's our gift! We found out 2 days before Christmas that we were going to have another baby. What a gift! Thanks be to God! We are pretty excited since we had been wanting another baby, but it was just in God's timing. So we have officially shared the news with family and friends. I am not that far along... 7 weeks. But the signs and symptoms are there! And Lord willing we will have a new little one join our family close to the end of August. Please pray for a healthy pregnancy and that all things will go well with mother and baby.

And because we were shocked, we tried 2 pregnancy test. The first one was from the dollar store and Paul was not sure how true it would be. But I went out and bought a more expensive one and sure enough...We are having a baby. :)

How wonderful! Another little covenant child for you to nurture and cuddle and teach about Jesus :) God's strength to you both in this big job and to you especially, Jen, in the pregnancy months.
