We are here!

Well, we are here. We got into College Station on Saturday early afternoon. It was a long 2.5 days of driving and we were glad finally be here. The kids did really well with the drive. Once we arrived here we had to clean up the place a little since it was dusty and somewhat dirty. Then we unpacked our things, headed off to get a bite to eat and then to Walmart Superstore to get our gorceries. We had a good weekend and Paul started school Monday morning. The course is quite busy and the physical training is very intense. So far, Paul's evenings involve mostly studying. We are thankful to God for allowing us to arrive here safely and pray that the 12 weeks we are here will go well for us. Thank you all for yor prayers for us. It is greatly appreciated!!
palm trees that they have here

the beautiful flowers & Seth showing off a little of our canadian culture!

I just found out that a student of Texas A&M University is called an Aggie and since College Station is home of the university, they call is Aggieland. So Paul is an Aggie!

here is the boys room, they share and it surprisingly is working well!

the kitchen, has a washer & dryer in it as well. We are thankful for this convenience!

our room (both bedrooms have an ensuite which is nice)

the l-shaped living room/dining room. we still need to find a couch and bar stools so we can sit & relax and eat normally. We are making do with what we have for now.

our fenced in back yard. we don't have a screen door on the patio so we leave it open and Seth can go in & out as he pleases. Although at home he is so used to one of us out with him that he still wants us to go out with him and play.

Ethan in his booster chair on the floor. Folding his hands to pray just before mealtime.

The beautiful green grass that was just cut yesterday and the lovely green leaves on the trees. The weather is warm here (somewhat like the weather we get in June & July in Ontario). We are in shorts and t-shirst and have our fans on and the A/C has been as well.

I will post more as time goes on, but for now this gives you an idea of where we live and what it is like. I should have taken pictures of a cactus and the wild flowers that they have in their ditches along the highway on our way here, but wasn't able to so hopefully I will be able to sometime in the future.

Hey strangers=P
Thanks for updating your blog. It's great to see you guys. You house looks nice and big. Now you just need some furniture to go with all that space=o)
I miss you guys so much already and it hasn't even been technically a week. Looking forward to chatting with you on skype.
Both boys look so grown up. Seth must love wearing shorts and t-shirt. Does he keep saying, "It's a beautiful day"?
Anywho, take care, miss you guys, love you all, and am praying for each of you!!!
