Ethan had his 6 week check-up today. He weighs 9 lbs 15 oz and is 21 1/4 inches in length. He has gained close to 3 lbs in 5 weeks. We have to double diaper him for 3 weeks to help with his hip. And he is a little congested but not too much concern. Over all he is healthy and well and goes back in 3 weeks for his 2 month check-up & immunizations.
Here's our smiley boy. He has been smiling since he was 2 weeks old, but now has big smiles and makes cooing noises too. It's amazing how fast they grow up!

Wow he's growing fast. I didn't know he had hip problems...are they getting better?

Ethan's hip just makes a clicking noise (when the doctor was pushing on his legs and moving them around). We found it out yesterday at the doctor's appointment for the first time, but it is not a major concern right now. Hopefully it will be better in 3 weeks!
He's growing like a weed and smiling already! How cute! Hopefully he can get the hip fixed up soon.
Aww he is just the cutest little boy ever!! Well, besides Seth! I love his smiles, they are just adorable!

How's the double diapering going? Does he complain about it? Will he ever need a brace?

We just need to double diaper him for another 2 weeks and then the doctor will check him out and see from there. Hopefully it will have healed, but we will wait and see.
