Finally! Vacation pictures

I am uploading these pictures from my parents computer since we are having trouble on ours. We were at the trailer for almost 1 week. My parents, sister and brother were there too. Matt & Julianna and their girls camped for 4 days beside us. We had cooler weather but it was enjoyable. The 4 of us were able to go out for supper one night while my sisters watched the kids. We also were able to go swimming and for a boat ride. We had game night every night after the kids were in bed. It was an enjoyable time.
Enjoy all these pictures.
Here is the inside of our sunroom. Paul & my Dad went in June to fix up this room and bug proof it. We are now able to sleep on the pull-out couch in this room.
the beach

Swim time.
Seth & Paul enjoying the water. It was a little cool so we only had 1 or 2 days of swimming.

Boys will be boys!
Paul bought a remote control airplane to bring up with us. He bought it for him & Seth, but I think it was more for him to have fun. Even Matt enjoyed it and bought one of his own!

Supper in the park.
My parents treated us to KFC so all of us, including Matt & Julianna and their girls went along.

(Oops, forgot to rotate this pictures)

Here are pictures of the beautiful waterfall in Bracebridge.

Psalm 19:1
"The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament show His handiwork"

Here's a picture of our family. Kate was not able to make it, but everyone else was there! We had a great time and look forward to going again in a few weeks!

We're back

We are back from vacation. We had a great time. My parents, sisters & brother were there for the week and Matt & Julianna and their girls camped by us for a few days. Even though the weather was cool and we had rain, it was still a nice time to get away and enjoy God's creation. I am trying to upload pictures from our vacation, but blogger won't let me. I will keep trying, so keep checking in on us!

the air show

We went to the air show last Saturday. Paul was working so he was not able to come, but we took Auntie Sue along. Here Seth & Auntie Sue are waiting for the show to begin.

This army transporter was quite loud and mad Ethan cry a little. It is amazing how much noise the jets make when they fly over.

We were cheap and just parked on the side of the road by a farmer's field. Seth called it the jet field. He had a blast. We didn't really see the snow birds since we had been there for over 2 hours and it looked like they weren't going to come. We did see them for a brief moment when we were at Walmart. It was a fun afternoon.

outside fun

Seth just loves being outdoors and would spend all day out there if he had the choice. He (and we) are looking forward to going to the trailer this coming Friday. Seth has been talking about it for quite sometime and knew that our baby had to come first in April and then in the end of June we would go. So after Ethan was born he asked almost every day if we were going to the trailer yet. I will post pictures of our vacation when we get back.

Ethan's photo shoot

I did an in home photo shoot of Ethan last night. I couldn't get him to smile, but thought that these pictures were cute of him. He is such a good baby and we are thankful for him. What a blessing it is to have children!

Can't post pictures

For some reason blogger is not allowing me to post pictures. Not sure if it actually is blogger or if it is our computer. I just thought I would write something on my blog. Seth is doing well with potty training. He has been wearing big boy underwear for over 2 weeks and hasn't had any accidents in over 10 days. We have been doing a sticker chart and he has received an ice cream cone as one treat and a mighty machine dump truck as another. Only 10 more stickers and he will get a mighty machine digger and some more big boy underwear. We are very proud of him as it has taken us so long to actually get him trained. He is almost 3 1/2 now. Hopefully Ethan will be trained sooner.

Ethan continues to grow and is a very happy baby. He slept for 8 hours last night since I put him to sleep on his tummy. I know they say back is best, but tummy works for him since he gets really gassy and this helps him. So here's to hoping that he will sleep the same tonight! Hopefully I will be able to post some more pictures soon!

A little package with a lot of fun!!

Paul came home this Friday morning with this smart car. He is always talking about them and brought one home on a test drive. Oh, and no we aeren't planning on buying one any time soon.

The car is so small that you could easily park it sideways in the driveway!!!

As you can see, the boys are having fun in the smart car.

2 months and growing

We just came back from the doctor and Ethan weighs 11 lbs 10.5 oz and is 23 inches in length. He sure is growing and is healthy and we are thankful for that. His hip has corrected itself and does not make the clicking sound, so no more double diapering. Yeah!!

brothers for life

Here are some pictures I have taken of our sons. It is so cute to see them together. I know that Seth loves Ethan very much and gives him lots of hugs and kisses. Ethan adores Seth and smiles when he hears his brothers voice. I hope that they will be close as they grow up and share many memories together.

Here they are with matching shirts. Seth was pretty excited that they were dressed the same.

hugs & kisses

This past Tuesday, Ethan turned 2 months old. He is growing up and full of smiles. He is a happy baby (most of the time) and if he's not happy, he just needs cuddles and hugs. He goes for his 2 month immunizations today and will be weighed and measures. So we will see how much this little chubbers has grown in the last 3 weeks.

a morning at school

Here is Seth all ready to head off to school for the morning.

Auntie Sue had a toddler party for her parenting class at high school and she took Seth along. They played games, made a craft & had snacks.

Seth was there for a little over 1 hour and he sure had lots of fun. Thanks Auntie Sue for taking him. I think he will be very excited when he goes to school next year!
